Mauri Ora Tatou!

Are you in need of healing but keep putting it off?  Your body is the most important asset in your life.  So many people regularly service their car and never do anything to service their body.  Why?  The body is priceless to our wellbeing and yet often we put it last.  Perhaps you need a soothing massage to help let go of some of the emotional baggage you are carrying around.  If you feel imbalanced then you may need some spiritual, emotional or physical adjustments in the form of deeper bodywork.  Spiritual healing can change the vibrations on all levels and using ancient Maori healing chants can bring about an opportunity to release a life time of experiences that are held on the cellular memory of the body.  Only you will know when you are ready.  Charlotte can recommend the rongoa or herbal supplements,  changes in diet or lifestyle that are necessary to find balance and wellness again.  If you are feeling emotionally challenged in your relationship or are unable to resolve intimate sexual problems with your partner then you may need to go a little deeper in a healing session to find the source of this pain.  Often times, these issues can be linked to a childhood or religious experience but once you have acknowledged this, it is much easier to release it and move forward.  For those who are living with eating disorders and are feeling isolated,  be assured that Charlotte has many years experience in this field.  If you feel you are suffering from depression and have suicidal thoughts then be assured that you are not alone.  Emotional, mental and physical challenges can often become a special taonga that enable us to seek for a deeper spiritual understanding and enlightenment.  All the answers lie within and we can work with you to find the courage to discover the solutions that work for you.  SPINZ reports that Maori hold the highest rate of suicide in the world (more specifically in Te Mahia i Te Wairoa).  According to Te Ao tawhito, the whakapapa of suicide originates with our first kawai tipuna Hine-ti-tama who left this physical world to go and live in the spiritual underworld as Hine-nui-te-po. There she awaits to care for and guide those who are about to embark upon the journey to Hawaiki nui, Hawaiki roa, Hawaiki pamaomao.

Charlotte will only be working part time in Porirua due to current work and study committments.   For any further queries contact us.  Kaua e whakama - don't be shy.  Nothing surprises us and if we can't help you then we can steer you in the direction to someone who can.

Michael specializes in Naturopathic sessions, Self-healing through food and diet, Body Programming and Balancing, Structural Alignment, Sex therapy for those with intimate relationship problems, Neuro-Emotional Reset and Re-Programming.

Te-Hapuku-Ika-Nui-O-Te-Moana

( ? - 1878) A painting of Te Hapuku by Gottfried Lindauer from the Partridge collection.

 "Kahuranaki te Maunga,Poukawa te awa,
Ngai te Whatuiapiti te iwi
Kahuranaki te marae
Te Hapuku Ika Nui o Te Moana Te Tangata
Haere koe i mua i te tuara o Te Hapuku,
Kia kai koe nga kai whakairo i te rangi."

"Kahuranaki is our sacred mountain
Poukawa is the sacred Lake
Ngai Te Whatuiapiti is our tribe
Kahuranaki is our meeting house
Te-Hapuku-Ika-Nui-O-Te-Moana is the Chief
Go forth under the mantle of Te Hapuku and you will eat of the food of the Gods"

Introduction

In the Māori culture, many believe that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience with the ability to use the powers of nature to heal our selves, our whanau, our iwi, the wider communities and even our Mother Earth - Papatuanuku. It is absolutely magical aligning ourselves with the Ancestors, the ancient wisdom, the energies of the elements, the earth, the sky, the moon, the stars, the kohatu - stones, the winds, the waters, the animals and the birds. By learning to connect with the divine source, one can open the senses to listen to Te Reo -- 'the voices of nature.'Our teachings are from the wisdom of the Māori people who originally migrated by waka from Hawaikinui. Many of these healing systems were preserved orally through the generations by ancient Māori Tohunga -- 'High Priest/Priestess', and Tohuna -- 'the keepers of the secrets.'Māori healing theories and practices are used to enhance your health and embrace your holistic well being. We facilitate the discovery and mastery of oneness with the entire universe. Te Oomai Reia is an ancient clearing work used to release energies and cellular memories from the body.We focus on the values of the 'Tohunga' (the Healer within) to shape and develop new values for our work. Those who work in healing fields understand the importance of caring for the self on a holistic level.

WHAT WE DO
Our facilitators have over 40 years experience between them. We use a range of healing and bodywork modalities and specialise in traditional Māori healing - Te Oomai Reia. These ancient practices clear, release and re-energise one's entire being. Many have found these sessions to mark the beginning of a new life emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Some have made life changing shifts within just one session.
