Coconut Oil

Daily Use of Coconut Oil

The island people have used coconut oil for healing and massaging for many years. Some Māori rongoa practitioners use coconut oil daily and as an alternative to hinu (pig fat) in rongoa. The Indian Auyervedic practitioners recommend heated coconut oil for Kapha body types;  letting it soak into the scalp, ears, nose and for internal and external uses all over the body.

We have found coconut oil to be wonderful for oiling up dry and brittle bones, arthritic pain in the joints or for helping the organs and muscles to work at their peak. Daily application through the pores is simple and effective. After showering or bathing, apply heated coconut oil into the pores of the body and massage. Return to the hot water so that the pores open and the oil can go straight in to these particular parts of the  body.

Drinking coconut oil is also recommended but if you are wanting to remedy a particular area then massage the oil in externally so it can go in internally through the pores.

There are many more benefits that have been researched, clinically tested and proven to be beneficial to the prevention and cure of certain diseases.
